- I'm in zone 5 for gardening. This means that I have about 120 days of freeze-free gardening. Early spring to late fall. Gardening is my favorite past time. I have a small area for gardening so it can sometimes be a challenge. Some years I use containers as well as the (7) raised beds we built.

Leeks just take so long to grow, don't they? I have some Bulgarian Giant leeks to plant this year, must get around to sowing the seed in modules like you have done!
I've also grown a giant variety. They are Jaune Gros Du Poitou.
