Well, I haven't been much of a gardener lately ~ my small patch is run over with weeds. I'm finding my self assessing the situation here, including possibly looking into finding another job. Something that won't be so demanding on my time. Remember that saying, "all work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy"? I'm a very dull Lynn right now.
Reading Matron's latest blog has me longing for the older days when I had a pretty good harvest going on about now. The broccoli, bunching onions, spinach, lettuce, beets, radish. I do have a small harvest though ~ lettuce, beets, radish, basil. I'll post my goodies though no matter how small ;)
Our gasoline prices are shooting up faster than the weeds! We're forced to save as many trips as possible for one big day out. Sharing rides to the grocery store, etc. One bright spot though, is my son's tinkering on the very first 2 wheel bicycle he ever had! He's made it electric.
Now he's in the process of rebuilding his current bicycle. Two motors arrived last week. I guess this is his answer to the gasoline prices ;)
